Senior Sales Engineer
This is a unique opportunity for a top notch sales engineer to join a startup before the product is released to the market. Your responsibilities will be many and varied. You will have the ability to learn our product inside and out by performing customer centric testing and requirement validation as a member of the product validation team. Along with this you will be instrumental demonstrating the product to prospective customers and by driving Beta testing and problem resolution. If you are comfortable in high-visibility positions where you can directly impact the shape of a game-changing product, this is a position to consider.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to sell and support enterprise IT solutions to corporate customers
- Conduct discovery sessions and requirements gathering
- Pre and post sales support of new product introductions
- Integration with existing products
- Experience working IT and enterprise ready solutions like System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, Powershell, Group Policy, Active Directory, and SQL is strongly desired
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies a plus as is working knowledge of Linux
- Troubleshooting in complex mix-vendor environments
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft’s enterprise ecosystem
- Assist with developing and managing reference sites through high quality technical and professional client relationships
- Help build and extend the sales engineering team
- Responsible for providing professional, clear, concise and accurate documentation to clients as it relates to their project
- Responsible for keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in the respective area of expertise
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in as a systems administrator, field engineer or similar function
Desired Skills:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) a plus
- Working knowledge of VmWare/Xen/Microsoft/Virtual Iron virtualization platforms
- Excellent diagramming and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational/time-management skills
- Technology blogging a plus
- Photographic memory and one-handed-driving-with-Blackberry skills (optional yet desirable)
- High energy and enthusiasm with an emphasis on teamwork and job enjoyment
